Highly Commended Award
Step Beyond has received a special 'Highly Commended' Award in this year's national LARIA Research in Excellence awards.
The award was in recognition of our publicity campaign evaluations for the West Midlands Hub of Museums, through which they have been able to achieve dramatically better results from their advertising, while spending a quarter of the amount they had been doing previously!
Survey of Staffordshire Businesses
The recently published Step Beyond survey, ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY, gives hope for hundreds of Staffordshire companies hit hard by the recession.
The headline results show that three in every four Staffordshire bosses expect to see turnover increase over the next couple of years and a third are looking to hire new staff.
Step Beyond conducted telephone interviews with a wide cross section of company executives in over 100 businesses spread across the whole of Staffordshire.
Industry sectors included manufacturing and engineering, leisure and tourism, ceramics, building and construction, retail, catering and chemicals.

supplier to Business Link Select Supply
Step Beyond is now an accredited supplier for design, marketing and research projects under the Business Link West Midlands Select Supply scheme.
The initiative offers companies confidence in the suppliers they use for their business. Each application goes through a rigorous selection process which tests their experience, knowledge and track record in the services they provide.
Business Link West Midlands can supply funding grants to suitable businesses in the West Midlands, and should those companies require design, marketing or research services, then that’s where Step Beyond comes in.

Tim takes a step beyond for charity
Another personal best in the Stafford Half-Marathon
Tim Bragg, Step Beyond's Marketing Development Consultant, started running two years ago while on holiday in France and hasn't looked back since. Highlights among the many half-marathons to date are the Great North West Run and the Great Manchester Run. In the Stafford Half-Marathon Tim improved on his previous personal best time by a healthy margin. Nice tee-shirt!
Tim now has his sights set on his first full marathon run and can be found pounding the lanes around his home in Staffordshire in the early hours of the morning.
